Anjali Patel graduated in December of 2008 from the University of Michigan Law School. While at the law school she helped coordinate the Environmental Law Society's Great Lakes Law Symposium. She has worked in the fields of environmental education, international development, and environmental and energy law.

Patel served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo and holds an M.S. in environmental policy from Drexel University and a B.A. in biology and environmental studies from Case Western Reserve University.
