Rebecca (Becky) Pearson is a program specialist working on a variety of projects including the Land Use Policy Roundtable Series, the Recreational Boating Study, the Great Lakes Dredging Team and the Great Lakes Biohydrologic Information System study.

Other Commission projects that she had recently completed include: Water Resources Management Decision Support System (WRMDSS) project and the Water Conservation Took Kit project.

Pearson was a California State Sea Grant Fellow working with the California Resources Agency’s Ocean Program in Sacramento. She has extensive background in coastal and marine policy and experience working on issues related to coastal erosion and sea level rise.

Pearson received her bachelor's degree from Purdue University in French Studies and her master's from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in International Environmental Policy.
