Thomas Jabusch served as the 2002-3 Great Lakes Commission-Sea Grant Fellow. Jabusch assisted with the Army Corps of Engineers' Great Lakes Strategic Planning Project in the Regional Coordination program. He also contributed to projects in the Commission's Communications and Internet Technology Program and to the Beneficial Use project of the Transportation and Sustainable Development Program.

Jabusch completed his Ph.D. in water resources science at the University of Minnesota. He also holds a master's degree in biology from the University of Freiburg in Germany. His work experiences include positions in environmental research in the U.S., Switzerland, and Germany. In addition to his background as an aquatic scientist, Jabusch also pursued interests in science communication by freelance writing and developing educational materials.
