Project Protocol

The key to the states' coordinated efforts to estimate toxic air emissions is the Great Lakes Air Toxics Emissions Inventory Protocol. The protocol guides each state's efforts to identify key sources and estimate emissions of the target toxic air pollutants and ensures consistency across the region.
