Scholarships and Fellowships
The Great Lakes Commission offers a scholarship and fellowship opportunity every year. For students with an interest in electronic communications technology and its applications in the Great Lakes region, the Commission offers the Carol A. Ratza Memorial Scholarship. The Great Lakes Commission-Sea Grant Fellowship offers a student the opportunity to work with members of the Great Lakes' science, policy and information/education communities to advance the environmental quality and sustainable economic development goals of the Great Lakes states. T.E.A.C.H. Great Lakes
Are you interested in learning more about the Great Lakes? T.E.A.C.H. (The Education And Curriculum Homesite) features mini-lessons on many Great Lakes topics: environment, history and culture, geography, pollution and careers and business. Geared for elementary through high school students, the modules are continually expanded and updated and include links to a glossary to help explain scientific terms and acronyms.
